Last year I did a round-up of my best-of posts, which it turns out, I have none of, so let’s just take a look at this from an automotive and personal perspective:
Passed a very long job interview process and I’m finally doing my dream job
Bought a car and re-taught myself how drive stick
Somehow maintained my relationship with my girlfriend
Got back into photography
Moved to the middle of nowhere (thanks, employer!)
Did a solid number on my student loan while incurring a new hell of car payments
Maybe started figuring out this whole life thing
What’ll happen next year? Will I ever get my motorcycle license? Will I get new computer and camera equipment? Will I go on an adventure? Who knows! But here’s hoping that everyone made the most of the year, and is ready to take on the next one.

I know so many people that do what you do that ended up in Sask. What’s the deal with that?
Also, I really hope you can make the PNW Whistler drive!!

Every province has a certain number of spots given to each group of graduates. Our group had eight provinces open, but sometimes it might only be the big four (BC, Alberta, Sask, Manitoba). If you’re from one of these provinces, you have higher odds of going back, but it’s still not guaranteed.
Anyway, this means that everyone from out east ends up being stuck with a spot in the prairies, because there might be one spot open in the Maritimes, you need to have special skills to work in Ontario, and no one wants to come here. And if BC fills up, they end up here too. That’s the sparks notes version.
I’m hoping too, but with how my schedule is lining up, it’s not looking promising at this point, especially with the 20 hour drive both ways. i’ll keep you posted.

I’m a professional people person.
Trying to get my reserve fund back up. I hem and haw a lot on big purchases because $1500 is nothing to sneeze at. That’s nearly four months of car payments.

So hr?
Ya I know what you mean. I've been messing around with my a6000 and while it's miles better than my cellphone I can't help but wonder what something like the a7 ii would be like.

Thanks! And I’ve learned a lot of situations can be better dealt with when I have a better attitude towards them, so I’ll make next year the best year I can.
